Sonja Tref owner of SunShine & DayDreams has been selling and training horses for over 15 years. During this time her number one goal is to match the perfect horse and home. Testimony to her expertise in “finding the right horse for the right rider,” is her client list of satisfied customers who keep returning over and over again. Sonja enjoys helping trainers in their horse-hunting expeditions and is just as committed to finding a good, safe horse for individuals who do not have a trainer readily available or someone looking to purchase their first horse.
Sunshine and Daydreams is dedicated to the rescue and rehabilitation of abused, neglected and at-risk horses that for whatever reasons they have found themselves in, offering them a second career in life. It’s amazing the amount of time and training some of our horses have had in their past lives. Every one of our horses must be able to function and earn their keep on our horseback riding string; this is where they get their exercise and rehabilitation that they need to become quality horses to be placed into good homes. At the same time we offer to teach new owners the proper care and horseman-ship that these wonderful animals so deserve to help with the perfect home and rider match.
